Bat Hawk Feeding at Sedia Hotel Campsite

Twilight last week and a Bat Hawk chased a small sparrow like bird into a car door. While it was stunned and on the ground, it came back to collect it's supper. Then it was off to a tree to dine. It must have been rather young - it seemed to have more brown than most description.

This all happened while I was waiting for the coals to cook supper.
